About Us

Jeremy Snelling Marine Surveys Limited offer a variety of survey services for all types of GRP and wooden craft up to 24 metres in length.

We are able to take instructions at short notice, including weekends.

We pride ourselves on producing high quality reports that are clear and easily understood. We particularly understand the needs of the novice sailor or first time boat owner.

All work is carried out in accordance with the standards and Code of Practice as laid down by the International Institute of Marine Surveying.

We believe that the marine surveyor has an important role to play in the promotion of safety at sea.

We carry full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance.

Based in Colchester we are ideally placed to carry out survey work throughout Essex and Suffolk, but also offer our services anywhere in the UK.

Jeremy Snelling SuppIIMS DipMarSur(YS),  holds the Diploma in Marine Surveying (Yachts and Small Craft), issued under the auspices of the International Institute of Marine Surveying. Jeremy Snelling is committed to a programme of continuous personal development and regularly attends seminars covering surveying practices and technology in the marine industry.
